Hand Brake Light On

If you notice your handbrake light is on and you already make sure your hand brake is released, then it might be your brake oil is low or your brake pad is time to change.

This also depends if:

a) you have 2 disc and 2 drums
b) front wheel or rear wheel drive

Handbrake is usually connected to the rear brakes only. So if you have the problem; if more likely the cable has lost its tension and needs to be replaced
